Ms. Robina Feroze Bhatti (Chairperson)
She is Masters in Development Studies, KDSC- Dublin Ireland (2008) and Masters in Chemistry, Baha-ud-Din Zakriya University, Multan Pakistan (1993). She remained lecturer in Chemistry in Government Girls College Sargodha. Later she founded Tangh Waseb Organization in 1998 and since then she is recognized as women and minority rights activist at national and international level. She is one of the 1000 women nominated for Nobel Peace Prize 2005 for her struggle on the issue of violence against women. She is member of States Alumni of International Visitors Program of United States, CIVICUS: World alliance for citizen participation South Africa and AWID FORUM (Association for women rights in Development) Canada. She has travelled across the world to learn and to work for the development and empowerment of socially excluded communities
She has been elected as Chairperson of Board of Directors - AwazCDS-Pakistan for the period January 2011 to December 2012.

Mr. Maqbool A. Babri (Vice Chairperson)
Maqbool A. Babri, popularly known as Max Babri, is the Chief Executive of “The Konsultants” a Lahore based Management Consulting Group. He specializes in Institutional Development through Participatory Decision-Making, Interpersonal Skills Team Building, Leadership and Individual Empowerment. His expertise is frequently sought by major multinational businesses as well as by United Nations Agencies, GTZ and World Bank projects.
His publications in the field of Employment Generation through “Small and Micro Enterprise Development” and “Supervisory Training for Enhanced Productivity” are frequently quoted by International Development Agencies. He is one of the very few trained and certified Moderators and facilitator in Pakistan authorized to conduct & moderate “Goal Oriented Planning Exercises, Mr. Babri has organized and conducted over 100 workshops and training sessions mostly aimed Vision and Mission Development, Organizational Development, Team Building, Leadership, Empowerment and Management. He has designed and taught many courses including Governance, Policy, Management and Media Techniques at the University of Lulea, Sweden, during 1982-85.He has excellent command over Scandinavian languages especially Swedish and Norwegian. He has many national and international publications to his credit.
He is a visiting Professor at the Punjab University teaching Group Psychotherapy to the students of “Advanced Diploma in Clinical Psychology”. Presently Mr. Babri is teaching a course on change management as part of the MSc programme in Human Resources offered by Department of Administrative Sciences University of the Punjab. Mr. Babri is currently developing a course on Education and Diversity for MS in education offered by Beacon-house National University.
As a visiting professor he has taught at LUMS, Interpersonal Skills during 1987- to present and Psychology during 1995-96 sessions.
Mr. Babri is a practicing Psychotherapist and a certified clinical hypnotherapist.

Dr. Muhammad Mumtaz Khan (Treasurer)
He is PhD in Urdu Language and currently working as Associate Professor in Urdu Department B. Z. University Multan. He is one of the Founder Members of Pakistan Teachers Forum. He has been elected as
Treasurer of Board of AwazCDS-Pakistan for the period July 2008 to June 2010.

Ms. Sayyada Mujeeba Batool (Member)
After starting her professional career as a human rights activist in 1999, Syeda Mujeeba Batool has worked at progressively on different positions in national and international development sector organization since the last 12 years. Her experience has been concentrated in programme planning, development communication, advocacy, research and capacity building. Currently she is working in ICMC an international nongovernmental organization, works for protection of EVIs and involved in humanitarian assistance as Senior Manager Projects. On the other hand she is running a self financed school for street children of slum area in G-11, Islamabad as responsible citizen of Pakistan.
She has been part of several women rights and education related researches and studies. Her contribution towards the development and implementation of the “Code of Conduct for Sexual Harassment at the Workplace” is a major achievement, which has been endorsed by the parliament and has become a Women Protection Bill, in the country. She has led several women, children rights and peace campaigns as part of her endeavours in policy advocacy. She has imparted a large number of trainings on gender related themes and collaborated with a broad range of individuals and organizations from the public and private sectors on peace and gender issues.
She has vast experience in the field of networking and linkages building with UN, Donors, bilateral funding agencies and government during her stay in different organizations. She led Networking and Communication department of HRDN for about five years during which she also worked as Acting Executive Director for about two years. There she was responsible for overall management of the organization, monitoring and overseeing programs, and publishing a quarterly development magazine “ILLUME” as Editor. During that period she also developed, implemented and monitored many Humanitarian Response and Disaster Risk Reduction projects and gained a solid understanding of Logframes, monitoring and evaluation frameworks and mechanisms for emergencies.
She has imparted several training rights based programming/ monitoring and evaluation and visioning exercises for CBOs and programme team. She has also been involved in extensive report writing and has represented abovementioned organizations at national and international forums. She has been elected as Member Board of Directors of AwazCDS-Pakistan for the period from January 2011 to December 2012.

Dr. Sajid Mahmood Awan (Member)
He is PhD in Pakistan Studies and currently serving AS Senior Research Fellow in National Institute of Historical & Cultural Research- Centre of Excellence Quid-e-Azam University Islamabad. He is also serving as Press Secretary of Pakistan Teachers Forum, Vice President of Multan Arts Forum, Member of Council of Social Sciences Islamabad, and Member of Society of Asian Civilizations. Mohammad Zia-ur-Rehman ( Secretary)
Mohammad Zia-ur-Rehman is the Founder and Chief Executive of Awaz Foundation Pakistan: Centre for Development Services (AwazCDS-Pakistan) - commonly known as AWAZ, a leading national NGO in Pakistan working for securing the future of marginalized communities especially women. He did post-graduation in Mathematics from B. Z. University Multan- Pakistan in 1994. He won the competitive scholarship from Global Partnership in 1997 and successfully completed one year diploma course in NGO Leadership & Management with specialization in Research Methodology and Techniques, strategic planning and management in October 1998 from Centre for Development Management, a joint venture of BRAC- Bangladesh and SIT-USA. He also won a scholarship from CIDA and McGill University of Canada for a one year course on Social Enterprise Development and has successfully completed in 2003 from Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) –Pakistan with a specialization in managing people’s organizations.
A strong believer of civil liberties, Mohammad Zia-ur-Rehman is known for his grassroots community mobilization and advocacy work in civil society circles of South Asia. He is actively engaged in various international networks and movements on peace, ecology, democracy, poverty and human rights and leading the Global Call to Action against Poverty-GCAP in Pakistan as National Coordinator since 2008. GCAP is a coalition of CBOs, NGOs, CSOs and networks in Pakistan, connected with Global Movement against Poverty in more than 130 countries across the World. He is also serving as Convener of South Asian Facilitation Group in GCAP. He is founder and National Coordinator of Peoples’ Awareness and Rights Committees (PARC)–Network active in 53 Tehsils of Southern Punjab and also working as Provincial Coordinator of Network for Community Empowerment (NCE) in Punjab Province of Pakistan. He is one of the founding members of Pakistan NGO Forum – a national representative body of NGOs in Pakistan. He remained the Board member of International Human Resource Development Network for the period 2004-2008. He plays a pivotal role in bringing trade unions, media organizations, peasants’ movements and civil society organizations together at national forums to struggle for the common cause.
He has conducted many action researches, compiled and edited several reports on human and women rights, discriminatory laws and customary practices promoting violence against women. He is considered an expert on socio-economic and political issues of southern Punjab and Provincially Administered Tribal Area –PATA of Punjab in Pakistan.
