“Institutionalization of Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights in Pakistan
AwazCDS is running this project in 80 Government schools of District Multan. So far it has capacitated more than 320 LSBE Teachers, 20 Master trainers and more than 28,000 LSBE graduates in Girls and boys schools. Target is to reach more than 45000 adolescents girls and boys.
Develop an efficient model/approach that ensures all adolescents (especially girls) have access Life Skill Based Education and are empowered to develop and sustain the knowledge, skills and attitude necessary to make culturally appropriate safe choices about their life by adopting responsible behaviors by:

Increasing their understanding of the social, psychological and physical changes associated with adolescents

By improving their self esteem and self confidence

By protecting them from unhealthy activities as drug use, HIV/ AIDS, unwanted pregnancies

Developing skills for resisting peer pressure and become a responsible citizen of the nation

ToR’s of District Project Steering Committee

District Project steering Committee will have the mandate to review progress against approved work plan of the respective district and suggest corrective measures
-
Monitor the progress of the project at different level through quarterly reviews and will share the results (changes in LSBE indicators) on regular basis through dissemination of national level yearly monitoring report as well as through participation in policy dialogues with stakeholders from CSO’s and government

DPSC will conduct regular quarterly meetings
-
DPSC will develop a community based evaluation mechanism to evaluate the effectiveness of changes in Health Management system
-
By the end of the project period district and national project steering committees will be converted into LSBE District Task force and will be integrated into local government system with the aim to advocate and monitor the fund allocation and utilization in specific districts from LSBE perspective to improve the quality and access of client centered SRHR services
